This was released in 2nd September 1987 for 100 paise.

You must be thinking why I am posting this information today, but Actually I didn't had an idea that stamp for the remembrance of our Guruji was released, so when I happened to see it while googling his name, I thought to share with all of you, so that nobody remain unaware of it. Jai Guru.

there was also a postcard released with thakurji's face;
also there was released an envelopes with thakurji's image;
i want to ask what was the motive behind this and was it fulfilled?

Tell me why Rabindra Nath Tagore was awarded with many prominent awards, why Mahatma Gandhi is seen on all the indian currency, why many other great people find place on stamps.
I m not able to comprehend dada, what you want to say by this, that what was the motive in releasing this stamp. Please elaborate what you want to say, only then I can answer your query.
DO you think since this stamp was released, motive behind has not been fulfilled.
why you all want to discuss on this as there is no limit of devotion and this stamp is also a example of this devotion.
Thakur showed a path to this world for the betterment and it is our pleasure that we are associated with this great divine and soul and thakur has fathon us that we will spread his teaching to this ignirent world who always make questions but dont want to search for the answer.Answer is here YAJAN YAAJAN ISHTABHRITY.
